~ MEET YOUR TUTOR: STEPHANIE ~
I’ve been teaching English language, literature, and writing for 14 YEARS, helping a wide variety of learners from all over the world: young and old, beginning and advanced, online and in-person. I have a master’s degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and a double bachelor’s in Spanish Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition. Additional subjects I tutor include Spanish, history, test prep, public speaking, and math.
Not only am I a highly-trained educator, author, and linguist, but I’m a language learner, too, just like you! I have studied 12 languages (Spanish, Latin, Mandarin Chinese, Arabic, Portuguese, Dutch, Italian, French, Russian, Hindi, and Vietnamese) and traveled through every continent except Antarctica. In fact, I’m traveling the world right now with my family! I know first-hand how heart-wrenchingly frustrating it is to try learning a new language, failing again and again and again. I also know what it takes to be successful. That’s the value of a teacher with experience!
